Someday

Have you ever said to yourself, "Someday I will do that with my life", or "someday I will be this or that", and then we come up with all kinds of excuses why we can't do or be that right now.  "I don't have the skills to do that" or "that's just not me" or "I'll get around to doing that when I'm older and more established."  The Word says, "no man knows the day or the hour in which Christ will return."  It also says "not to worry about what tomorrow brings, but to do today what can be done today." (Ryan's rough paraphrase)  We have no guarantee of tomorrow even coming for us!

So I want to challenge you to think about what God has put you here on earth to do for His kingdom.  Maybe you have no idea, but I guarantee you that God has put you right where you are, right now, for a reason: to affect change and influence your world for God.  You may feel like you don't have what it takes to do something great for His kingdom.  Let me tell you something, God does not call those who have all the right tools, but He gives all the right tools to those who are called.  We have more ability than we think, because it does not come from ourselves, but from God's power in our lives.  It's time we stop making excuses and putting off till tomorrow, what we should be doing for God today.  We only live this life once, and it's time to start seeing that our "someday" is today.
